How the Krev MCP server works in Claude, Claude Code, ChatGPT, Cursor, OpenClaw, Hermes, and any MCP-compatible client.
It is a single connector that exposes Krev's tools to any agent through the Model Context Protocol. Once connected, Claude and other clients can generate product photos and videos, build ads, research creative, and manage your catalog using your store's context.
Any MCP-compatible client. That includes Claude, Claude Code, Codex, OpenClaw, and Hermes, plus any other tool that speaks the Model Context Protocol.
Yes. The MCP authenticates with an API key from your Krev account, so generations, products, and credits all belong to your workspace.
Connecting is free. The tools consume the same credits as the Krev dashboard, so a standard image costs 40 credits and video pricing scales at about 80 credits per second. Failed generations are refunded automatically.
Generate standard and 4K product images, create product and creator-style video, build performance ads with copy, research the ad library, upload and list products, send Meta conversion events, and check your credit balance.
Yes. Agents work from the products in your catalog and your Brand DNA, so generated images, video, and ads stay closer to your brand without manual setup each time.
No. The public MCP tools focus on creative work and read-only research. Meta campaign and account changes are blocked, so nothing goes live or gets published until you approve it inside Krev.
Add the Krev MCP server URL, function(){throw Error("Attempted to call MCP_SERVER_URL() from the server but MCP_SERVER_URL is on the client. It's not possible to invoke a client function from the server, it can only be rendered as a Component or passed to props of a Client Component.")}, in your client's connector or MCP settings, then paste your API key when prompted. In Claude Code you can also run "claude mcp add krev function(){throw Error("Attempted to call MCP_SERVER_URL() from the server but MCP_SERVER_URL is on the client. It's not possible to invoke a client function from the server, it can only be rendered as a Component or passed to props of a Client Component.")}".
Every request is scoped to your API key and its permissions. Keys are shown once, can be revoked at any time from the dashboard, and share the same rate limits as your account.
Connect your store once. Krev's team creates the photos, videos, ads, and posts. One context, every job.
